Upgraded Operating System

🤔 How often do you upgrade your operating system?
👨⚕️Today I had my post operation review with my surgeon at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust - one month after my Whipple surgery.
🤩 The brilliant news is that my new operating system has been installed successfully and it’s clear of any viruses or threats.
😅 The biopsies on my tumour, surrounding areas and lymph nodes were all completely clear - in fact it’s the best possible outcome - and definitely no post surgery Chemo required.
💯 So my new operating system means I’m leaner, more efficient, definitely more resilient, more experienced at overcoming trauma, and able to use positive psychology and mental fitness to overcome challenges and move forward.
🙏 Obviously I’ve still got some way to go with my full recovery, and need to have regular checks over the coming months and years - but I’m on the best possible pathway I could be.
💯 I’m looking forward to re-engaging with clients, partners and collaborators during the last two weeks of August. And I can’t wait to get back to what I love doing from Sept - training, developing and coaching commercial leaders and their teams.
💯 I might even add some tailored talks on overcoming major challenges where the odds are stacked against you - if there is interest and this can inspire and motivate teams to go beyond their perceived limits.
I’ll leave you with a few final thoughts to think about and challenge yourself with:
💭 “Is your current operating system allowing you to be at your best or do you need an upgrade?”
💭 If you are not sure - who can you talk to in your support network to help you get clarity.
