🤔 What legacy are you creating?
😥 Four years ago today the world lost Shane Warne - one of the greatest spin bowlers the game has ever seen.

🏏 He was a genius – not just because he was hugely talented - but because he was a disruptor – who always pushed the boundaries.
😃 He was also a larger than life character who was generous with his time, as I experienced first hand.
💯 About six months before he passed, my son (then 12) and I met him at Lords during the Hundred finals.
💯 He didn’t need to stop. He didn’t need to chat. He didn’t need to make time for a young lad in awe of him. But he did - generously, warmly, and with that unmistakable Warne charisma.
💯 Talent and Leadership often gets defined by the big moments. But legacy is sometimes built in the small moments - the choices we make when no one is watching - the way we treat people when there’s nothing to gain.
💯 Warne did that. On the field and off it.
😥 A supreme talent taken far too soon.
😁 Today I’m pausing to remember him - and his generosity towards my son and the legacy that one interaction left.
